AND GROUPS OF 1984 TOGETHER IN ’84 Together ... Looking back at all the promises we made and the dreams we had. We won, lost; laughed, cried and were happy and sad. Together ... We would never give up when we thought we were right. But with all our heart we had the will to get up and fight. Together ... When things went wrong and did not go our way. We would remember there is always tomorrow and another day. Together ... We had classes that seemed to have no ending. Always you would find us looking at a window daydreaming. Together ... When the days are long. Some grumble that lifes all wrong. Together ... As we walk down the halls saying good-bye. Wondering later in life, if our friendship will die. Together ... We stand together watching the sky. With the moon so bright and the stars so high. Together ... As the time grows near with summer on the way. There are things to do and words to say. Together ... The time has come; for some will leave and some will stay. In years to come they will be back another day. Together . . . As the few walk out the door. The senior class of 84 are in an elite class of their own. They are a fun-spirited group who have worked very hard to get where they are. John Eaton has been the class sponsor for all four years. As well as being a warm individual, he has helped in more ways than one. At fund raisers Mr. Eaton was always there to lend a helping hand, or a teasing comment. When the class started the first of four years at DHS, teachers wondered what they were getting themselves into after hearing all the rumors about the class being rowdy. But after a couple of months the teachers learned that they were stuck with the class and had to make the best of it. The best was better then they thought it to be.
