Eli 1 'ZY crm 79:1 IM hmm, fam! fffe ITHER the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her, and to wonder what was going to happen next. Freshman year gave us plenty of time to look about us although at first it seemed confusing. There was that apprehensive glance at our rooms, the impatience and speculation as we waited for our roommates, the on-our-own feeling we had as our folks drove away. We welcomed the help our junior sisters W Freshman Ojicers gave us that first week. We looked with awe at the red-coated sophs. We enjoyed seeing Dean Corwin's house at her tea. And hazing was a never-to-be-forgotten experi- ence. But as the weeks passed, we were given time to learn what it was like to live at college. Gee, the things you get used to! we exclaimed. There were peanut butter and crackers, exams, bull sessions, goozing, getting up in the middle of the night to cut bangs.
