D rama has had some problems in the past, but with Mr. Charles Laundra in charge, that is looking to change. This year the Drama Club did a very commendable job in putting on two very fine shows. The first was The Diary of Anne Frank. Hard work was the key to putting on this drama, commented Mr. Laundra. The other play was Barefoot in the Park. Barefoot went over very well, which means a step in the right direction, toward strengthening the drama program R back up. Every year we have The g-1 5d, x Competition Plays, and every year Q p things are different. This year, the W Iunior class was credited with the best play for Funny Business. It was directed by Beth Day, last year's best actress. Receiving awards were juniors Iohn Mehl and Tim Royal, for best actor, and best supporting actor, respectively. Both actresses were from the Fresh- men production, The Rented Tux, directed by Meg Hemmer and Mary Siwik. They were Pam Mur- phy, best actressg Rhani Chose, best supporting actress.
