Bill Dickinson,quarterback of the 1983 IV football team, had this to say aboutthe year: We had an ex- cellent season, alot of hard prac- tices, and we ought to have a good varsity team in the future. The Most Valuable Player for IV was Rob Landeryou. Best Offensive Lineman Award went to Tom Hruby. Mike Andreotti and lohn Long were voted Most Improved Players. Steve Humphrey was Best Defensive Lineman and lim Dey was Best Offensive Back. The season drew to a close with 7 wins and 2 losses.
