Thrills, chills. and excitement are many on The Corkscrew. The Corkscrew was the un- animous favorite of the many roller coasters, which included The Blue Streak, The Witch's :gf 0 ' -' . 'o':'1 ,- 0.0.0.3 1 0.0 ff IQ, QABOVE, RIGHT7 Jill Schuette, Kathy O'Brien, and Leslie Foulds realize its too late to stop the boat. KABOVEQ Linda Birney and Margaret Leddy sit back to enjoy the ride. IBELOWQ The hair-raising, stomach jolting drop of The Corkscrew. Wheel, and Shoot the Rapids. The Big Wheel is always an attraction, along with the various cable lifts and villages. The seniors fre- quently visited the many fast-food stops, and ice cream and salt- water taffy wagons. The always- present lines stretched practically back to Saginaw, but discouraged none. The bright warm sun and fair skies made for perfect weather. Three busses, filled with happy, tired seniors, came back home, with almost everyone a lit- tle sunburned. Penny Westendorf, Bob Mayer, and Mark Fjerstad walk together along the midway.
