Talk about storybook finishes . . .A two yard touchdown plunge by John Garner with 56 sec- onds left gave the Brahmas a hard earned 7-0 win over Haxlandale's Indians . . . After 45 minutes of a great defensive and punting game, the Brahmas drove 50 yards in 8 plays, capped by Garner's winning run . . . A stubborn MacArthur defense and a 55-yard touchdown run with an intercepted pass by Gary McCaffery provided the keys for the Brahmas 7-0 upset of the Austin Maroons . . . A rugged Brahma defense led by McCaffery, David Wylie, Tim Alexander, jim Briscoe, Gary Sheets, Lloyd Wake- field, Ken Corder, caused five fumbles and intercepted two passes which stymied Austin's offense time after time . . .
