There was never a more appropriate definition for the month of Novem- ber than the word blah . . . It was a month of many dull days . . . of rain-soaked grounds . . . a month when getting up early everyday began to take its toll . . . and a time in which one of the more exciting events on campus was the local chess match.

3 Have you ever thought of the many functions in early winter that are centered around a ball . . . Events such as football games . . . The Old South, F.H.A. Ball . . .basketball games . . .and, in December, the traditional Blue and White Ball . . .All were events which MacArthur students attended-and had a ball.
