National Merit Scholarship Finalists . . . the cream ofthe academic crop . . . total scores in English, Science, and Math them in the top WZ of all high school seniors in the nation. . .MacArthur had nine out of only 63 in the ounty . . . the highest number of any San Antonio school.

Seniors Picnic As Graduation Nears Assistant principal in charge of Student Services, James Davis performs another student service. The Senior Class picnic . . . the last social big event of the school year . . . as every picnic, there were cut feet . . . strolls in the woods . . .volleyball games . . . cokes . . . and sunburns . . .but this one was special . . . it was the Seniors '69 picnic. Many seniors ended the picnic with a walk in the woods.
