Head photographer Ronnie Zimmerman and a staff of ten others took on an extremely difficult task because of the choice of the annual staff to go to mosaic design with few posed pictures . . . the staff will all be hack next year except senior Fred Pitzke . . . Lots of fooling around but a great deal of work was still accomplished... Started the year with only four staff photogra- phers . . . By the second semester, the group had grown to eleven with four apprentices.

The BRAHMA TALES had a banner year. . .it won the Award of Distinguished Merit from University Interscholastic League . . . and Commendation for Excellence from the National News Service . . . This year the staff was small but hard working . . .The staff was headed by UIL district journalism winners Brenda Speert and Sara Jane Hawthorne, Rich Bayse . . . and a new sponsor, Mr. Norm Hitzges.
