BA EBALL An experienced team with a nucleus of six starting seniors led MacArthur to a very acceptable 16-9 record in baseball . . . But to the people who really followed the team, it wasn't as satisfying as it could of been . . . More consistent pitching. . . a few clutch hits . . . or simply putting it all together could have led the Brahmas to district, and beyond . . .The Brahmas did get to play a spoiler role near the end of the season by knocking Highlands out of district contention . . . and then dropping Jefferson into a tie with Lee. . .After winning 9 of their first 11 games the Brahma nine hit a midseason slump . . .but bounced back to win the last four games on the brilliant pitching of senior Mark Fitzer. John Porter and Terry Tuck have different emotions about the same play.
