Girl Swimmers Retain State Title Swimmers begin the 100 yard freestyle with a racing dive. W Tina Truet seems near exhaustion at the finish ofa race. A San Antonio newspaper said that diver, Paulette Gibson, was possibly the best female diver in San Antonio.

,aa-.,k Coach Don Dill announces winners of each event at all meets. Randolf gives an extra spurt for the finish line. The MacArthur boys swim team . . . undefeated in the city . . . and practically unchallenged . . .fin- ished a strong third in the state meet . . .The team's success can be attributed to their coach, Don Dill.. .junior freestyler, Ray Ince . . . team captain Bill Barn- hill . . . two successful relay teams . . .and a group of dedicated swimmers whose many months of early morning practices paid off.
