THOMAS FRIER lClass of 19351 Under the sponsorship of the graduating class of 1952, the Douglas High School Alumni Association was officially organized December 23, 1953. The purpose of the Association is to re- vive high school memories, to meet old ac- quaintances, and to keep alive the spirit and ideals of Douglas High by having an alumni banquet once a year. Even though the merger of Douglas City Schools with other Coffee County high schools to form the Coffee County High School will go into effect in September 1955, the Association held its largest and most enthusiastic meeting on December 23, 1954 and made plains to enlist all alumni, working toward a bigger and stronger association.
