April 27, i985. was an 'important day in the lives of the membersrof the Class of '85, as well as the class of '86. For the Seniors, it was a spectacular event that would bring their last year in high school to a memorable close. For the Juniors. it was a moment that brought them one step closer to becoming the new leaders in the year to come. The first Junior and Senior prom was held at the Commonwealth Convention Center. The ceiebra- tion began with carriage rides from the Galt House to the Conven- tion Center. Fantastic decorations such as a carousel, a champagne fountain. and a park style setting greatly enhanced the mood of the evening. Becoming a member of the Pepsi Singers can be a difficult task The members work long and hard Every year they continue to bring great pride' to the students and staff at Doss High School. The group participates in many activities during the year. During the months of November and December, 44-Pepsi the Pepsi Singers sang Christmas carols throughout the area such as The National Merit Scholars Dinner The Jefferson Mall Christmas around the World in Chicago, and The Louisville Thunder Soccer Game in December. The Pepsi Singers also did a commercial for Jefferson County Public Schools entitled Stand up for What's Outstanding in your School. Thanks to the Pepsi Singers and their director Ms Gail Taylor much happiness has been brought into the lives of many people during the school year. L
