l986 Five seniors: Tammy Mills, Michael Rickert, Tina Spencer, Jamie Vincent, with Gina Shepherd as captain combined their experience in leading the cheerleading squad through the I985 - 86 year. Next year the seniors will be led by Missy Butler and Lori Hash, the juniors by Stacy Baum and Dawn East. Instead of having Varsity and Junior I 96-Cheerleaders t 'M in Cheerleaders Varsity squads or an A and B team as in the S years past, they have united this year into a single cheerleading squad. During the early part of the summer the cheerleaders started preparing for the new year. To raise funds for their different activities, the cheerleaders have held several carwashes, sold school buttons, and had al yard sale. The first in the form of competition was attending the NCA Y Ab. ....nl'.t,, 1. 14 'ti camp where they won several blue ribbon for their individual efforts. They have als competed at Jefferson Mall against othe public schools. While Mrs. Burnette super- vises over the team, they choreograph their own cheerleading motions and dance rout- ines. CONGRATULATIONS on a good job cheerleaders!!
