They were LaDonna Koebel, Tamara Frazier, Heidi Blessing, and Jill Wells. ln his first year of coaching tennis at Doss, Kevin Salyer, played the dual role of boys and girls tennis coach. While giving of his time and sharing his knowledge of tennis he carefully guided the young team as they gained experience and confi- dence. A fp' With a 5-4 win-loss record for the 84-85 season the team finished fourth in their Region. According to the team their favorite match was Meade County at Doe Valley. Overlooking the fact that it was a losing day on the tennis courts the team had a winner of a time swimming in Doe Valley Lake on a windy and definitely chilly March day. They were able to finish Ilth in the State. The team was led by seniors Rodney Morgan Spence Shipley Clark Carroll Rod- ney Pitts Doug Sheakley Troy Denson and Walter Francis.
