WITH A 8-3 VICTORY OVER VALLEY IN THE TOURNAMENT, DOSS BECAME DISTRICT C AMPS The I984 Doss High School baseball team completed another successful season last year and ended up with a I5-I2 win-loss record. Led by second- year coach Calvin Biggs and five sen- iors, the team had valuable experience which helped them through the tough spots in the sea- son. The team started quickly, winning eight out of their first ten games. This streak included a win against a tough North Hardin team. Unfortunately, rain caused the squad to miss three early games and they finished with nine rained-out games. They made a fine showing in the Val- ley Invitational Tournament and al- though they had trouble Iater in the year, the regular season was success. Doss' postseason play was ou standing. They won their dis with a 8-3 win over Valley. In Regionals though, Doss lost to S ern in the first round. This bn an end to a surprisingly good for the Dragons. I 2' Q. .
