I s I' jr- Mrs. Woosley is a geometry, algebra ll, and calculus teacher at Doss. She has taught at Doss for twelve years. For ten of her years at Doss, she has devoted much time to being the cheerleading sponsor. At times she has sponsored both J. V. and Varsity squads. Cheerleading at Doss is more than doing cheers at basketball and football games. lt is a combination of attending summer cheerleading camp, making posters, for all sports including wrestling and baseball, cheering at pep rallys, attending competitions and decorating locker rooms. Mrs. Woosley, as well as her cheerleaders, dedicate much time and effort toward making Doss a more spirited school. The cheerleaders cheer at approximately 55 games a year, in addition to this, they cheer at wrestling matches and pep rallys. Mrs. Woosley is always there, too. Mrs. Woosley has added her own personal touch to cheerleading at Doss. She stresses stiffness and neatness. These could be the reasons for her cheerleaders success. Through the years, Mrs. Woosley's squads have gained many honors and awards. Some of these are as follows: YMCA State Champs I5 yrs.J, YMCA Runner-Ups I77-782, State Hnalist I4 yrs.j, 6th Region Champs I3 yrs.j, NCA National Champs 175-762, J. V. Tri-State Champs K73-742, 2nd Runner-Ups National High School Comp. C78-791, 3rd Runner-Ups National High School Cheerleading Comp., held in Orlando, Fla., televised 179-802, U of L Comp., lst place l8l-822. Sports are a big part of school and cheerleaders an important part of both sports and school. Year after year, Mrs. Woosley has done her best and given her time to make Doss Cheerleading the best. The M YTH would like to recognize Woes for her contributions. Thanksllll 19 S1 K-Al x A Special Lady '87
