The 82-83 Cheerleaders worked very hard throughout the year under the supervision of Ms. Cindy Woosley, their sponsor. This years squad consists of 6 seniors and 2 juniors. The cheerleaders begin practicing in June in prepara- tion for the 82 football season. They then continued practicing on pom pon routines, competitions, and basketball season. The Squad attended the Cake Competition in November, which was held at Jefferson Mall, They were chosen as one of three winners on that night. They were then invited to return and compete in the Hnal competition. It is the role of a Doss Cheerleader to be a leader among fellow students and to maintain spirit in her school. The squad cheers at many sporting events during the year and in essence, the cheerleaders have a never-ending season.
