The Doss High Pepsi Generation singers consisted of 37 students, Each student must try out individually before choir director Ms. Gail Taylor. She judged them on facial expression and vocal standards. The group traveled around Jetlerson County to sing at special occassions. Although known for singing at nursing homes, different schools, banquets, and parades, the groups biggest expedition was at Christmas, when they got the chance to go to Chicago, Also every year around this time we have our own television special with channel three. And this year we were fortunate enough to have Hazel Miller and the Monarchs join us. Providing our leadership in the group were our 1983 seniors, all these members included Dana Curlee, Teresa Orthober, Carol Evans, Karen Garthwaite, Chris Stettler, Richard Lemaster, Sherrie Kennie, Missy Haueter, Jean Ann Padgett, Rick Edmondson, Allison Kern, Charlotte Graham. and Toni Jaggers. Through the Dedication of Ms. Gail Taylor and the Pepsi Singers, Doss High once again was well represented in a variety of places. The Pepsi Singers sing at Doss High School during the Christmas Holiday ! and what a fine performance it was.
