They were held Friday eve- ning, September 27, with Gerry Ebbers as emcee. Many came to hear an active dia- logue and much humor pass between the demands and questions asked the eligible dates and their responses. Questions such as What kind of fruit does your wife re- mind you of? were answered by four newlywed couples at- tending Dordt. It was again the time for Dordt's annual masquer- ade party. Many characters came to the old gym, charac- ters such as clowns, insects, cats, and hippies. All partici- pated in a lion hunt, games, and singing. Then the various costumes were judged. The picture below shows the first prize winners, Harry Fernhout and Hilda Dykstra dressed as Father Aquinas and his nun, and the third prize winners, Dawn Eriks and Stu Korringa as clowns. Kelli Keller, not pictured, won second prize as Auntjemina.
