Dordt College conducted a rally which was held in the new gymnasium. The speaker was Rev. George Gritter, pastor of the Alger Christian Re- formed Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He indicated the need for constant reformation by every Christian. The even- ing ended with the singing of the Reformational hymn, A Mighty Fortress ls Our God. I7 --A--M -- -vu-v

I8 The purpose of the Mission Club was to instill interest in missionary activity and to promote such activities in its members in the future.Meet- ings were held every three weeks. It was the largest club on campus with approximately 140 members. They partici- pated in services at the Sioux City Gospel Mission, attended and took charge of services at the Sioux Falls Penitentiary, and helped in the Vermillion Church. David Smit was president, and Dr. Kistemaker was the faculty adviser.
