SENIOR CLASS HISTORY On August 26, 1957, 3h hopeful freshmen entered Dorchester High School. We were initiated early in the fall by the sophomores. Later we gave them a return party. Our class officers were president, Jim Kwasny; vice-president, John Schattl; secretary, Donna Schmidt; trea- surer, Dick Seidel. Judy Bramucker and Linda Johnson represented our class in the Student Council. Mrs. Abrahamson and Mr. Flahive were our class advisors. In 1958 we returned with still 3k- members. Early in the fall we initiated the freshmen. Our class officers were president,Ann Bednarek vice-president, Judy Bramucker; secretary, Judy Meyer; treasurer, Jim Kwasny. Representing us in the Student Council were Donna Schmidt and John Schattl. Class advisors were Mrs. Hemphill and Mr. Meredith. We began our junior year with 31 members. Class officers were John Schattl, president; Judy Bramucker, vice-president; Linda Johnson secretary; Art Paul, treasurer. Student Qouncil representives were Judy Meyer and Wayne Underwood. Mrs. ‘Pinter and Mr. Meredith were our class advisors. On November 20, 1959 we presented a three act comedy play Have a Date . Ann Bednarek and Judy Bramucker were co-editors of our school paper, The Junior Hi-lited . Linda Johnson represented our class at Badger Girl's State. In I960 we returned with 31 members to complete our final year at Dorchester High School. After the first semester we lost one member. Our class officers were Ken Tischendorf, president; Wayne Underwood, vice-president; Orlean Pope, secretary; Judy Meyer, treasurer. Our class advisors are Mr. Zier and Mr. Cook. On May 11, 1961, 30 seniors received their long awaited diplomas. Linda Johnson was Valedictorian and John Schattl was Salutatorian. Donna Schmidt received the Betty Crocker Award.
