We were initiated early in the fall by the sophomores. Later we gave them a return party. Our class officers were president, Jim Kwasny; vice-president, John Schattl; secretary, Donna Schmidt; trea- surer, Dick Seidel. Judy Bramucker and Linda Johnson represented our class in the Student Council. Mrs. Abrahamson and Mr. Flahive were our class advisors. In 1958 we returned with still 3k- members. Early in the fall we initiated the freshmen. Our class officers were president,Ann Bednarek vice-president, Judy Bramucker; secretary, Judy Meyer; treasurer, Jim Kwasny. Representing us in the Student Council were Donna Schmidt and John Schattl. Class advisors were Mrs. Hemphill and Mr. Meredith. We began our junior year with 31 members. Class officers were John Schattl, president; Judy Bramucker, vice-president; Linda Johnson secretary; Art Paul, treasurer. Student Qouncil representives were Judy Meyer and Wayne Underwood. Mrs. ‘Pinter and Mr. Meredith were our class advisors. On November 20, 1959 we presented a three act comedy play Have a Date . Ann Bednarek and Judy Bramucker were co-editors of our school paper, The Junior Hi-lited . Linda Johnson represented our class at Badger Girl's State. In I960 we returned with 31 members to complete our final year at Dorchester High School. After the first semester we lost one member. Our class officers were Ken Tischendorf, president; Wayne Underwood, vice-president; Orlean Pope, secretary; Judy Meyer, treasurer. Our class advisors are Mr. Zier and Mr. Cook. On May 11, 1961, 30 seniors received their long awaited diplomas. Linda Johnson was Valedictorian and John Schattl was Salutatorian. Donna Schmidt received the Betty Crocker Award. CLASS MOTTO IN OUR SELVES FUTURE LIES JUNIOR PROM ENCHANTED SEA On May 6, 1960 we presented our Junior Prom. The hall was decor- ated to the theme of Enchanted Sea . Judy Meyer and Jim Kwasny reign- ed as King and Queen. Crownbearers were Laurie Rhyner and Dale Meyer. The court consisted of; Donna Schmidt and Art Paul, Ann Bednarek and Fred Bartnik, Linda Johnson and Carlton Pecher, Judy Bramucker and Steve Mertens, Chris Walhart and Wayne Underwood, and Connie Herrman and John Schattl. PLOCKELMAN Tory S. SORENSON T R E A S U R E R J. HERMAN In August of 1958 a very momentous event occured. Thirty-one freshmen entered the Dorchester High School. The usual, but still hum- iliating initiation took place, followedby a return party for the soph- omores. We were helped through this year with the aid of our class ad- visors Mr. Boyd and Miss Dietsche. Class officers chosen were Alicia Bramucker, President; SamZier, V. President; Chris Waldhart, Secretary and Arthur Bartnik, Treasurer. Victor Plockelman and Lenore Carlson acted as our student council representatives. In the fall of 1959, our number was still thirty-one. It was our great pleasure thisyear to initiate the freshmen. Mr Miland and Mrs. Hemphill were our class ad- visors Arthur Bartnik and Cynthia Koffarnus were selected as student council representatives The junior year found us still climbing the ladder of knowledge but our number had dwindled to twenty-five. After being initiated by the Sophomores we gave a return party for them. Our class officers were: president, Dewey Sebold; vice- president, Tony Chojnacki; secretary, Loretta Miller; and treasurer Tim Mertens. Kathleen Younker and Betty Schiferl were our student council members. Later in the year, three members moved or dropped out and one moved in Class advisors were Mr. Winkless and Mr Lindeman When we returned to Dor—High in the fall of I960 we found there were 3I4. Sophomores entering. We had the enjoyment of initiating the Freshmen this year. Our president was Ronnie Gosse; vice-president Ray Seidel; treasurer, Gail Hollmann; and secretary, Marilyn Fierke. We were joined a week later by Jeanne Vidas, who was compelled to leave school a few weeks later because of illness. W.e were officially greeted by the sophomore class at an Initiation party. We in turn honored them with a party on the evening of October 21. At our first meeting we elected the following officersr Leroy Schultz, president; Donnie Meyer, vice president; Donna Miller, secre- tary; and Colleen Schmidt, treasurer.
