We elected class officers at our first meeting which were as follows: Carol Ludwig, President; Glen Paul, Vice-President; Aria Brecke, Sec- retary; Sharon Sauter, Treasurer. Mr. Haavisto was our class advisor. We returned to school in the fall of 1955 with a new class advisor, Mr. Secrge. Our class had lost six members leaving only 30 Sophomores to initiate the new Freshmen. The class officers were Larry Seidel, Pres- ident; Pauline Weber, Vice-President; Ruth Krueger, Secretary; Janet Schiferl, Treasurer. During the year we raised money for our Prom. The Junior Class of 56 and 57 numbered twenty-three students. At the beginning of the year we had an election of officers. The ones chosen were, President, Frederick Bartnik; Vice-President, Mark Geiger; Trea- surer, Pauline Weber; Secretary, Carol Ludwig. Our advisor was Mr. George. On October 27 we presented a three act comedy paly Lets Face It . Our class sponsored a dance November 24. Roger Allen and his orchestra provided the music. As Juniors we organized a school newspaper, which we called Dor-Hi Lites . Jerry Stueber tnd his orchestra, called the Squires , provided the music for our Junior Prom. We decorated to the tnerne, Canadian Sunset'.' Frederick Bartnik reigned as king with Pauline Weber as queen. Last years royalty, Marliyn Killikin and Dale Pope did the crowning. We came back as Seniors with three new students ano the loss of three previous students.
