CLASS In the fall of »48, Dor-Hi opened up its gate To welcome in its freshmen green. The cutest kids you've ever seen For the next few weeks, we were bashful and shy. And to study hard we did try Initiation took place on the 17th of September, Which made that day one to remember. Through the rest of the year we tried to behave. And when we didn't the teachers would rave. When we returned to school the following fall. There were 21 of us present for roll call. Kayo was elected president of our class, And to be good students was the hope of each lad ana lass. Our greenness we completely let pass, » When we initiated the freshmen class. Parties were held, and they were fun. We also sold pop, to help make some mon . Soon that year came to a close. It was a year of good times and not many woes. Our year came to an end completely right. We had a picnic of fun and delight. Back in school in 1950, As upper classmen, we felt pretty nifty . We were Juniors now. And had lots of work to do. We chose John as our president. That meant Prom King tool Every one was wonderifcg who the Queen would be, Janet was the lucky girl that won the victory. On the 4th of May our Prom took place. Eighty couples attended, with poise and grace. When we left school that spring. We felt q.uite sophisticated. Because in fall we would be seniors. This we all awaited. Then in August, Dor-Hi welcomed in its students old and new. Among them were a group of seniors, numbering twenty-two. Kayo was our president, and Denny was v. p.. With Billy as our treasurer, Arlene as secretary. We took a trip to Medford, Doyles Studio to see. To have our pictures taken as c uick as 1, 2, 3. Shortly after Christmas, we had our Senior Ball, Howie Sturtz played Silver Bells , in our new Memorial Hall. The royal King was Kayo, with Grace as his Queen, They made the cutest couple that you have ever seen. On the 15th of May in '52, Something important came in view. Graduation came that day. And sent the Seniors on their way. Thus ending the history of our class. The best years of our lives, we have Just let pass.
