SENIOR CLASS PLAV SAVED BY THE BELLE, a bright new comedy stage play by Thomas Sutton, was presented by the Senior Class on April LA The production was under the personal supervision and direc- tion of Mr. Schwierske, and featured in the prominent supporting roles were: Rita, member of Aurora Sorority....Agnes Stelzel Doris, another member.........................Elva Brecke Ginnie, Janice Hlnke Bonnie, Arlene Bedroske Harriet, Dorothy Zuther Pudge, ” Elaine Gruny Mitzie, ..............Agnes Sedlack Lulu, ..............Joanne Ludwig Mrs. Fish, the House Mother....Mary Ann Reynolds Warren, a reporter.......................A1 Braun Slugger, who fought Dempsey.........Bill Hennlich Jackie, a young pugilist..............Don Springer The action of the entire three acts takes place at the Aurora Sorority House on the campus of Stonehall College for Women. The tempo of the play is fast and furious and the cast enjoyed rehearsing and presenting it as well as the audience enjoyed seeing it. TEN VEARS HENCE We're out of High but one decede And happy too, for it is said---- The rnichty hand of Destiny Makes us what we ought to be A1 is doing research work And runs a drugstore in New York. Elaine has settled in Eau Claire. Her husband now is marshall there. Arlene, in her painter's attire Draws the covers for Esquire. Aggie, working in the air As stewardess, fiys free of fare. Bill's new job is in the blue He pilots air and space ships too. Joanne's been married long, we hear Good housekeeping's her career. New kennels Mary Ann now owns. She raises dogs and gives them homes. Martin coaches the Women's Nine ---Does carpentry in his spare time. Marriage leaves Dot time to teach English, Latin, French and speech Aggie's on a girl's ball team. She married too--the coach, we mean. Elva has been teaching too. We heard her next job's at the U. Janice is bound by code and vow. R N. is her title now. And so you see what we have made Of our careers in one decade.
