HAPPV OAVS It seemed only yesterday but it was really four years ago when we, the seniors, first stumbled over the doorstep of Dorchester High School. There were twenty-one of us then—shy and unsure of ourselves, and com- pletely awed by the upper classmen. We overcame most of this awkward- ness after we were initiated and overcame all of it after we initiated the freshmen the next year. We won the magazine campaign that year too. We came out on top all four years with the aid of our never-fail- ing salesman A1 Braun, who sold all of $310 worth of magazines during this time. We also accomplished much as juniors-in March giving our success- ful class play Too Many Relatives. On April 21, everyone of us spent a Dreamer's Holiday at our Junior Prom, with Bill Hennlich and Arlene Bedroske reigning. The king and his queen were crowned by Mb. Schwierske, who was our class advisor every year, and his wife. Every- one enjoyed the evening by dancing to the music of Emil and his band. As seniors, we again featured a big dance, the Snow Ball on December 27; the royalty being Don Springer and Agnes Sedlack. Our theme, Winter 'Wonderland provided the setting for the affair. The music was furnished by Howie Sturtz and nis Orchestra. Because of the fine acting ability our junior play brought to light, we again pre- sented a senior play entitled Saved By The Bell. Everything was so successful and enjoyable that it was with sadness that twelve seniors held their diplomas on May 17. Yes, we were both sad and happy stand- ing miast dear friends and waite carnations--------we, who came stumbling into the door four years ago were now walking out with poise and know- ledge . WILLS V e, the Class of 1951, of the village of Dorchester, State of Wisconsin, being as mentally sound as can be expected, do hereby make our last personal will and testament: I, Arlene Bedroske, will my tiny features to Mary Ann Peterson I, Albert Braun, will my brains to Denny Mertens I, Elva Brecke, will rry blond curls to Mary Ann Sulik I, Elaine Gruny, will my ood humor to Joanne Seidel I, Bill Hennlich, leave nothing to no one I, Janice Kinke, will my ability to drive a car to Eilly Rau I, Joanne Ludwig, will my cheerleading ability to Warren Leslie I, Mary Ann Reynolds, will my long hair to Shirley Pope I, Agnes Sedlack, will my ability to play ball to Joan Musial I, Don Springer, will leave with Bill I, Agnes Stelzel, will my pleasing personality to Myrna Laabs I, Dorothy Zuther, will my acting ability to Greta Gebert 12
