DORCHESTER CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM The Red Devils from Dorchester defeated the Blue Jays of Athens to win the championship of the district tournament. The team was awarded gold medals, and a trophy, which was received by James Herman. Captain of the ’48-'49 squad. This trophy, which occupies the place of honor in our trophy showcase, is the first of its kind in the history of Dor-Hi. 30
