------------------nineteen. ii .--------------------------- CLASS PROPHECY This is a prediction of the fifteen years progress the seniors of 194-6 will be making. Some of us have returned to Dorchest- er while others have not. LaNae found her dream man after school let out and named her first son Gene. Stella is teaching history in a small town. Loretta has become a great singer although she received a lot of discouragement in high school. Ranny is still trying to decide what to major in so he can go to college. (A little slow isn’t he?) Ray (a chip off the old block) took over his dad’s farm. I believe he is married to the Wilke girl. Estelle has returned from a trip to California and is still clerking in Schreiber’s store. Dorothy is on the verge of getting married, but can't seem to choose among all those men. Joseph is wearing a telescope to see the hidden meaning. Betsy is a quiet-well-liked house-wife. Elvin is a comic actor in Hollywood. Melvin is the county agent of Clark county. Alvin has become Walt Disney’s right-hand man. Wesley has become a mechanical engineer at Radolph Field. Bernice and her all girl orchestra are now on Broadway. (She plays saxophone, you know.) Leona is mending books in a public library. Bobby is a truck driver in Milwaukee. Eleanora is still trying to write the class prophecy after fifteen years. Here ends the prediction of the fifteen years progress the seniors have made.
