SENIOR HISTORY The Senior Class of 'A2 has been one of pep, activity and leadership. A few of our Senior boys will be missed in basketball and baseball. The Senior girls have taken keen interest in basketball, volleyball, and bowling. The class was well represented in Band. Blanche Genrich and Madge Mertens represented the class in solos. Blanche Genrich and Fred Reynolds gave a cornet duet and Joyce Sebold and LaVerne Sauter gave a saxaphone duet. In the Dorchester Clarion, the class has displayed their literary efforts by preparing the school news. Blanche Genrich was editor of the Oor-Hi—Spy and was assisted by other members of the class. In Dor-Hi's carnival, a great many of our Senior drama- tists displayed their ability in the Plummer Breach of Prom- ise Case . Corliss Jensen and Madge Mertens represented the class in the popularity contest. Seniors also made a good showing in the Future Farmers of America judging contest at Madison. Our class was repre- sented by John Harris, Corliss Jensen and Fred Reynolds. The senior class was represented in dramatic declamations by Isabel Paul. During this period of history when our country, together with the rest of the world, is in distress, the Defense Stamp Club was well represented by the following seniors: Audrey Brecke, Corliss Jensen, Dolores Liepke, Valarie Paff, Isabel Paul, Adeline Stoiber and Lois Wolf. Last, but certainly not least, this wonderful history of our entire school year, the Dorhian, has been made possible by the diligent work of the Senior Class.
