At a night meeting in October, Mrs. Mossman, the owner of the Charm Beauty School, gave a talk on grooming, assisted by Mrs. Burnetta Curby who demonstrated a comb out, Our Chapter took treats and table favors to the children at Wells School in Watseka for Thanksgiving. An annual Tot Party for pre-school youngsters was held on December 21, Santa appeared to distribute gifts to the children, fThank you, Louis Bossongj, During the month of January we learned that our president, Joyce Whitson, had won the Betty Crocker Award for the Homemaker of Tomorrow for our chapter, A mother and daughter dessert party was held on February 3 with the F, H. A. girls furnishing the entertainment. Ten freshman girls were initiated, Once again at Easter, our chapter remembered the children at Fortin Villa with a basket of treats, The officers for the year 1966-67 were installed at a Mother-Daughter tea in the month of May, With the help of Miss Carlson, our sponsor, and the chapter mothers, Mrs, Elsworth Langel- lier, Mrs. Raymond Parker, and the honorary chapter mothers, Mrs. Clarence Maxwell, Mrs. Wayne Brown, and Mrs. Chester Duby, this year in the Future Homemakers of America was one of great enjoyment,

F. A. Father and Son Banquet was well- attended in the spring. On she sectional level, the chapter participated in the officers training school at Central. John Lee, 'State Treasurer, presided over this meeting. In state activities, delegates Rick Hixon and Harold Loy, and alternates, Mike McCullough and William Askew, were sent to the Illinois State Convention. Four other members also attended the an- nual Livestock Judging Contest at the University of Illinois, We have participated in an excellent program of work this year along with several field trips which proved educational as well as interesting.
