Victories The annual field day held in May gave everybody a chance to win. First on the field, the athletes displayed their ability in tug-o-war, the fifty yard dash, and many other events. The winners were rewarded with a fantastic prize - a sucker. After the games it was on to the gym for home cooking. Two tables were filled with everything from chicken to chocolate brownies. Everyone ate and ate and ate . . . Then students and parents ventured to the cafetorium for the underclassmen awards. Now was the time for the scholars to be victorious. Farley Thompson and Stephen Propst receiv- ed the Most Outstanding Iunior Girl and Boy Awards. After the awards lucky tickets were drawn when the Boosters' Club raffled prizes. The day was over - but what a day it had been.

Each day he must decide whether to sail the charted course or the un- charted seas. When he joins together with other sailors, each sailing his own course toward a common destiny, we have a better blended society. At Donoho we find a wide variety of such seafarers: our eager extroverts, our bashful, shy introverts, our competing athletes, our sensitive artists, and our probing intellectuals. The mixing of these different voyagers gives Donoho its unique identity.
