He was also the ever ready, guiding, disciplining, inspiring coach of the tennis team. For all that you've done, there is not enough thanks. Thereforefwe can only say - Thank you so much, and we are very proud to dedicate our book to you. We, the January and June graduating classes of 1957, dedicate our book to Mrs. Hoffman and Mr. Montie for their fine guidance and teaching. Mrs. Hoffman taught us not only how to under- stand mathematics, but how to use it in our future lives. WMM This year RODHS had the privilege of sharing its work and fun with two exchange students from Europe. Through the scholarships offered by the American Field Service, Margaretha Sparre and Henri Geoffroy were able to come and spend a year in Royal Oak with us. Margaretha, called Maggen by most of the students, has her real home in Diursholm near Stockholm, Sweden. For her first 6 months in America, Margaretha lived with Martha Elliot and her family. For her 12A semester, however, she was the guest of Louise Gibson. Henri came to us from the gay city of Paris, France. His American home was with the Phillip Miller family. Margaretha and Henri came to Royal Oak with the idea of giving as well as receiving. Not only did everyone gain two new interesting friends, but they also gained a great deal more knowledge about Sweden and France, and international goodwill and understanding. Both students will return to their homes in Europe this summer and continue their schooling next fall. All the students of RODHS would like to take this opportunity, Margaretha and Henri, to tell you how very much we've enjoyed knowing you and having you with us. Good luck in your future life, and good bye for now. Margaretha, This sure has been a Henri, I came, I saw, l liked, I w wonderful year.
