WILLIAM MARTENS Bill is a three-year day hop from Oradell. Upon his entrance he immediately made himself a foremost member of out class. He can liven up the dullest group. Hailing from the well known city of Hillsdale, he's on the inside with all the celebrities and can usually come up with a good story about them. Mike plans to study banking in college. THOMAS MacDONALD Wfhenever there is a conversation, Tom will always be in the ranks, if not in the middle of the discussion. During his four years at Bosco, he has been known for his outstanding personality and generous nature. His likeable character has won for him many friends among his classmates. He is the boy who always investigates the whys, whens, and where- fores before accepting the facts. After leaving Don Bosco, he hopes to follow in his father's footsteps by studying educa- tion at Boston Colle e gi Sodality l, 2, 3, 4g Altar Boy l, 2, 3, -4g Baseball lg Intramurals l, 2, 5, 4g Fencing l, 25 Dramatics 23 Vice-president 2. l Dear Joanne. . . . f f DULMER MARSH Del, who comes from Rochelle Park, was a member of the resident clan until his senior year. He came to Don Bosco as a sophomore. A very musical-minded boy, he plays the ac- cordion, and in the school band he mans the drums. You ought to hear his hot sticks sizzle in a jam session before parades. Del is a very friendly guy and is always around to help out. Although often ridiculed for his tennis ability, he takes the Tennis Anyone with a smile. This Bosco boy hopes to be heading for Fordham for a General Science course. ROBERT MURPHY Rebel, as he is called by his friends, is a four-year man who hails from south of the Mason-Dixon line. Spending his first two years as a resident and his last two as a day hop, Bob has learned all the ropes. A handy man with a basketball, he was a big help to the Varsity in his senior year. Life? ambition. 26 MARTIN N ALLY Marty, a resident from that thriving metropolis of Bayonne, is a good-natured and easy-going lad who has made quite a name for himself in everything he has undertaken. His witty remarks and fine sense of humor have turned many an ordi- nary day into a hectic one for his classmates. He can be found most of the time relating tall tales about his cool '56 Ford.
