Brhiratinn On December 8, 1953 Pope Pius XII sol- emnly dedicated the year 1954 to the honor and glory of the Immaculate Conception. In this Marian Year it is altogether fitting that we, the Class of 1954, dedicate this yearbook to our Immaculate Mother. With it we also dedicate our hearts that she may be with us now, and at the hour of our death.

15111: ,pasta Qiiglx fzlwnl omcs or THE mnscron 31 E- Fd' 3302 RAMSEY 9-0066 February 211, 1951+ My dear Seniors: It was a very happy and appropriate decision on your part to dedicate the Bosconian of 1951.1 to our Immaculate Mother during the universal celebration of the Marian Year. We have every reason to be grateful to our Blessed Lady for the signal favors received, especially during your four years' stay at Don Bosco. During your Freshman year, on November 1, 1950, the Holy Father, Pope Pius XII, gloriously reigning, proclaimed the dogma of Mary's Assumption into heaven. On that very day, with the approval of our Superiors, we began our Building Fund Drive to expand the facilities of our school by erecting a new addition to be known as Immaculate Hall. As you are about to leave the portals of Don Bosco, in your Senior year, we have broken ground for the new edifice as a tribute to the Immaculate Conception, patroness of our beloved land. It is up to you, dear boys of IQSM, to carry out with you a profound and persevering love for Mary Immaculate, the Help of Christians. All the teachings and traditions learned at your Alma Mater may be reduced, in one word, to faithful devotion to the Mother of God. Our magnificent chapel and several shrines will constantly remind you of this. Continue, then, to be her devoted children to the end of your days. As I bid you Godspeed, I pray that each one of you will one day meet together at the footsteps of Heaven's Queen to form a glorious crown of her Knights forever. Affectionately yours, 3.211 J.
