A vigorous athletic program, however, provides a release for pent up emotions and neglected muscles. Everyone from the first freshman to the last junior, and some of the seniors, par- ticipate in this program. Early in the morning, during gym classes, and after school, teams drill diligently. The airy swish of the tennis racquet and the plop of the basketball echo through the halls as girls hurriedly sneak in a few minutes of practice before the bell.
