To develop the Christlike attitude towards Codls will, one's neighbor, and all life situations and problems was a major feature of Dominican's RELIGION platform. Looking backward to the Scriptures and forward to Heaven, students made ready to accept the now of Christ's redemp-tive work. Thus they studied about the Church, the Mystical Christ, which carries forward the work of salvation. The Sacraments, Codls saving actions in the present, came in for special scrutiny. Likewise did the Ten Command- ments, the guides to genuine happiness, receive careful treat- ment. The meaning of the state of grace, the concept of sin grew clearer in a frank analysis of teenage life today. All studied the liturgy and laid plans for intelligent participa- -tion in every phase of the Church year. With their goals set in the business world, where pagan principles and crass materialism run rampant, students worked hard at developing the correct sense of Christian values, at expanding those ideas, attitudes, and habits which will equip them to live as Christ would have them live. Imbued with the fresh air streaming from Vatican Council II, they listened, read, and discussed ecumenism. They saw how good example and intelligent dialogue may lead souls to the path of salvation. 4? y:,s,-:gyg t , Sister Jean Margaret, O.P.
