Secretaries handle all the job details which men do not have patience unless they be saints as was BL. Raymond of Capua, the one time secretary of the busy lady ambassador, St. Catherine of Siena. Sten at one hundred words, typing at fifty words are respectable goals. But the competent secretary must know so many things besides. Phone calls, contracts, manuscripts, bills, itineraries will occupy her working hours. Poised always, conservative in dress and speech, respectful, considerate and honest she must be. All this makes up her specialness. From her Dominican heritage she has learned a declaration of faith-the habit of seeing things in the light of eternity.
