New volleyball equipment was bought, Coach Macken set up a challenging schedule; the team became a member of the Hudson Valley Women’s Conference and new uniforms were being shipped by parcel post. Parcel Post went on strike; the uniforms arrived two weeks after the season finished; the team never won a game except for one glorious win; and the team didn't qualify for the Hudson Valley Women’s Conference match.
