This student involvement marked a first in the history of Honor's Convocations at Dominican College - a tradition which will hopefully be continued, 100 Honors Convocation 101 102 Faculty and students joined together in the festiv- ities of the Christmas season as the Christmas cele- bration was held for the enjoyment of a packed house in the Student Center, The chorus set the musical score for the party by performing seasonal ballads, Ata later point, a new talent was discovered in Dominican College as Michael Stocks launched his stage career as The Littlest Angel, Arlene Flaherty narrated, Christmas Party bets sun i 103 A. Harkins. 104 Alpha was an organization formed in the Fall of 1972 by a group of concerned Dominican College students for the purpose of providing religious and moral instruction, and social activity for children from the county, Under this program, each child is instructed by his own volunteer, Alpha is moderated by Sr, Tina Marie Stocks. STREET ps hae 105 President's Reception Members of the student body, faculty and Board of Trustees attended the annual reception given by Sr, Natalie Casey, Dominican College's President, held on Dec, 18th. Doug- las. These gentlemen spoke to the college and the community in the Tappan Zee High School Auditorium. The New Vision Lecture Series was conceived by the Student Government as a service for the general public. 114 ARS 115 VARIETY SEL@yx The third annual spring concert, held for the benefit of the campus building fund, in- vaded Dominican one crisp March day. Various students combined their multi-tal- ents to present an assortment of entertain- ment-ranging from a visit by Archie and Edith, to selected vocalizations and on to Charlie Brown and associates. The '72 team featured a well-balanced line-up of John Redmond, Gus Rodriguez, Mike Stocks, Glenn Petrosky, Tim Fischer, Mike Healy, John Delaney, Joe Mesiano, Matt Galligan, Rich Caruso and Mike Lyons.
