TRADITIONS CLASS OF 1968 . 38 54 DEDICATION We are men and women in a changing world. Our youth has seen advances made in space technology, com- munications media and social living. Our young adulthood has seen the Christian world reawakened and revitalized. Our advancing years of maturity await us. Man has been endowed with faculties which place him above the animals. One of these distinguishing characteristics is his ability to adapt to change. We are, and will be, living in a world that will constantly change its styles, its laws, its social sanctions. As educated Christians we in turn will have to temper our cultural and ethical backgrounds to meet the changes to come and to adjust to them. We must be flexible, yet firm in our ethical standards; adaptable, yet not sub- servient to the social mores; progressive, yet prudent in the wake of change. The Class of 1968 dedicates our Yearbook to the spirit of adaptability. May we foster this spirit in the home, in the business world, and in the classroom, but most of all within our own hearts.
