W arms The pastor is the center of UNITY in the parish. It is under his direction that as parishoners we form a united group, a family within the great family of the diocese and the still greater family of the Church. Like the Good Shepherd watching over His flock, our pastors patiently and untiringly work with us and for us. At Sunday Mass they unite us in the universal Sacrifice, they pray with us and explain the word of God, exhorting us to face with Christian courage the many problems of life. Consecrated and set apart as ministers of God to dispense His mercy to each one of us, our pastors are outstanding in their devotedness and their UNITY of purpose in turning all things to God.
