L. HOME ECONOMICS CLUB The Home Economics Club of '49-'50 started and accomplished the task of becoming an affiliated chapter of the F. H. A., this being the first one in Dolly Madison Jr. High School. We have worked on many projects among which were a luncheon for the teachers, a hot-dog sale, and toy-making for Children's Hospital. NINTH GRADE PROPHECY This prophecy is an account of a trip around the world byjanice Nicely andjeff Dennis. Janice is jeff's secretary. The year is 1965. The yacht on which we were to travel was designed by the famed architect, Wally Sherertz. The ship's doctor was none other than Madison's old class president, Porter Claxton. His wife, a nurse, was the former Anne Hannegan. The ship was placed under the guiding hand of Commo- dore J. P. Googe. . Our first stop after we left Washington, D. C., was New York. While walking down the streets of old Broadway, we stopped to see Pat Moran in her latest triumph at the Imperial Theater. For dinner that night we went to the Stork Club, whete featured as guest songstress was Norma Marsh- all. Norma really wowed 'em with her love songs. The next day, while passing down Wall Street, we saw the bank in which Charles Lynn had made a success. Well! Well! Well! Csee next pagel
