Although Dolly Madison is the smallest junior f f .34 A high school in Arlington County, our unlimited ,.,5, flag-'QJ varsity has made an enviable record for itself. In 7 its second year of competition, it ran up a record 1' -idx 4 of 20 wins out of 22 games played. After dropping an opening warm-up game to the Washington and Lee ' 'ig' alumni of Dolly Madison by a score of 25 to 21, 4 p they met and conquered all competition with the 0 ,384 exception of a 26 to 25 upset by Thomas Jefferson on the w1nner's court. fe if f When the County Tournament rolled around to determine the County Champions, our boys were not Ji to be denied. The championship ' W .El-ig' games were played at Thomas Jefferson so our Vic- ' tory was won under most trying conditions. The boys had an outstanding seasonal record by n 5 , scoring 690 points while holding their opponents to ,-SAX, X 19 459. This average of' better than 51 points per game LFHZL this was established while holding the opponents to I. Kg-'gf,, little less than 20 per game. The record is all the TEH ,f X more outstanding when it is taken into consideration '71 1 that as high as 17 players participated in some of Qi -'f'-'Q the games.
