Where the shoe really pinches is that Katy's brother, George, is about the most unsocial chap alive. Completely absorbed in scientific experiments, George, is away for his first year of college. Katy has plans for George's summer vacation at home. She spreads the news among her girl acquaintances that George has undergone a miraculous change in attitude toward girlsg has, in fact, become a veritable man-about-town. Ada Clark helps her with the plans. Three girls -- Cora, Janet, and Tessie -- become very interested in him and help to give George's colorless room the college treatment in a big way. Athletic equipment is everywhere in evidenceg girls' pictures clutter up the landscapeg even Dave Ellis's pipes are appropriated in order to give the room a mannish air. When George arrives home he brings Neil Olson, his colleague, and they proceed to work on an important scientific experiment. Mrs, Ellis is slightly bewildered by all the unexpected guests but still tries to keep up with her housework. GO WACKY! The four members of the orphaned Dixon family are Clay, Pamela and the twins. Disney QDizzyJ and Daphne fDaffyJ, the Terrific Twins, nearly drive Clay and Pam wild because of their philosophy: Be happy? Follow your impulses no matter how wacky. The twins are aided by Madge and Whiz Whaley whose widowed mother threatens to sue if those Terrific Twins don't stop influencing her precious darlings for the worse! Dizzy and Daffy discover in the attic an ancient tome of witchcraft. Giggling like zanies they proceed to follow the in- structions with immediately astonishing and hilarious results! First: rich Aunt Molly Millark- ey pops in and declares the Dixons her heirs. Second: two Ozarkians appear on the scene -- Garley Glanders and his MaJnmy , Peachie - May, Filthy rich from oil wells. Garley wants to marry Pam. Third: Clay saves the life of eccentric and fabulously wealthy J. Wofford Wool rich. The grateful Woolrich hands Clay a check for ten grand! But the twins soon discover all is not a bed of roses and decide to get rid of these pest-quests, as they turn out to be,with the aid of the witchcraft formula for invoking an elemental spirit! Things go none too well. Clay, full of self-confidence because of the ten grand check, proceeds to tell his boss, Stafford Yates, where to get off. Then his keeper arrives and takes J. Wofford Woolrich fwho is plain John Smithj back to the asylum.
