unior Class Row 1 Randall I Dunderdale Smith Gigliotti Yoran DAmato Borst Sec Rogers, Ortlieb Siver Youker Quackenbush G Darling Row2 Brill Conners Bahr, Treas Mortorano Noonan Silvernail Lamphere Mr Miller Stephan Pres Carlson Molinaro Lyon L Dunderdale Eaker Johnson Row3 Green Enn1s,Cuda Vice Pres Kingsley Snell G Darling Miller Fisk Nagle Povec Bullock Grimmer Winkler Wilbert Three Years of I-hgh School N the last few years the Junior Class has gradually come to take its place as one of the most important and active organizations in our school Each succeeding class has built up the prestige of the class until at this point the extent and the scope of the junior Class activities is second only to that of the mighty Semor organization Is it to be wondered then that during the first weeks in September we were all more or less stunned by the burden of being upper classmen? fAnd the truth of the matter is that many still hadn t recovered from the shock by the mid yearl a broader yearbook campaign ln addition to the yearbook problems we met the task of putting on dances enthusiastically and found it a lot of fun Our first dance of the usual fall and winter series was in October the Pigskin Parade to be followed by our Christmas dance which had a great turn out our Frosty Frolxc january and the March Masque 192 This year we shattered tradition by changing the Prom from its usual graduation mght date to the early part of june We did this in order to present a more gala affair as well as a longer evening of enjoyment For us the most important event of this year was the long awaited arrival of our class rings Co1nc1d1ng with their arrival an epidemic of pseudo sophistication and egoism spread through the class like wildfire Heads were very high walks developed the suggestion of a strut and hands waved gracefully in the air However there were beneficial effects also for at the same time there came a decided revival of class spirit and a fuller realization of the nearness of graduation Nor must we neglect to mentxon all the little happemngs and occasions that have helped to make our junior year one of the high lights of our high school days Mr Miller s patience in the face of such happemngs as that powerful aroma of H2S in our classroom our athletes Miller and Cuda playmg 3 letter sports selection of S Ortlieb M Borst and I Smith as Varsity Cheerleaders some of our classmates high ratings in music competition hay rides parties the list of good txmes and happy memories we have accumulated thxs .Tumor Year is endless 18 H ' tr K -Q 'N . 5 ' 4.
