Initiation is the thing at which most Freshman classes excel and we were out- standing under the able direction of the class of '49. As Sophomores we began to participate in all school activities and joined in the project to acquire a school bus. Perhaps there are times when the Lame Duck doesn't go very fast but it was fun working for it and we have enjoyed many com- plaining rides to games, contests, and parades. Band Uniforms was the theme song of our Junior year and we shared the enthusiasm of the Band Boosters Club who made the beautiful uniforms possible. Mrs. Stormo was the Junior advisor and directed us in the comedy hit The Campbells Are Coming . Any resemblance to hlllbillles was wholly intentional and we are sure we can impersonate Boston aristocracy with equal ease should it be needed in our Senior production, Our creation of Spring Night for the Junior- Senlor prom was so realistic that in memory the beauty of that setting will always be cherished by the class of 1950. Changes continued on throughout our Senior year as shop boys removed walls to provide pleasant new rooms for the band. The old band quarters now house shop, agriculture, and on-the-farm training which have been added this year. The Future 'IPIBQYI were also welcome with their candy and apples each noon to help raise money to send the Senior farmers on their trip in the spring. A Student Council was forlned and put to work and physical education was added for girls. We are proud of all we helped accomplish during our four years and of' all the individual accomplish- ments ol the class which are recorded in this project of the Class of 1950--the third edition of WHEEL TRACKS.
