.Ahmmtstrattcm I appreciate the opportunity to say a few parting words to this year ' s graduates in the 1 980 edition of The Highlander which shows the results of long months of hard work by the advisors, editors, and staff. I have a special affinity for the Class of 1980 since we started here together in the fall of 1977 Over the last three years we have come to know each other better, and I have been pleased not only with your work in the classroom but also with your involvement in athletics and in our varied extra-curricular activities. You have done many things well, individually and collectively, to make the most of your years at Doherty. You have all helped to make Doherty a better school in the last three years.
