Dear Friends, Unlike past years, when it came time to choose a dedication for this years Reflections I found this to be an easy task. Choosing a person, or persons if you will, to dedicate this book to was not the difficulty, but finding the correct words to express my feelings has been very hard. Sometimes we tend to take the simple things in life for granted, but over time I have come to realize that life is too short for us to take anything for granted. Life, as we all are aware, does not last forever. Even though we know that death is unavoid- able, it still creeps up on us and shocks us, especially when it takes someone close to us whom we care for deeply. Many of you have lost close family and friends, as I have. You know that the hurt goes deep and that there’s no cure for the pain. That is why this years Reflections is dedicated to all of the people who once shared in our lives but now have left us. It is dedicated to the times they shared with us, the joy they brought us, and the memories which we will hold forever. This dedication was not made in the hopes that it would bring tears to your eyes, but it was made in the hopes that your heart would be flooded with beautiful memories. “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven: a time to be born and a time to die.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
