A U V I FRONT ROW: Kris Moser, Keri Polsin. BACK ROW: Mr. Schuster-Advisor, Brad Parson, Matt Schultz, Kurt Whited, Bill Whited. Duane Koltz. s u A L Why are these students smiling? Because this time it’s their turn to be photographed. When any staff member asks to have any event video taped they call one of the audio visual students. Some of the events that they have taped are Forensics, Debate, Mock Trial, Basketball, Football, Volleyball, Track, Speech- es, Special Events, Essemblies, Programs, Musicals, Style Shows, just to name a few. All equipment is portable so not only are events here at Dodgeland taped but any student activity outside of school as well. The students are trained in two sessions at the beginning of the year and earn Vi credit toward graduation if they successfully com- plete twenty takes or shows in one year. This is a great learning experience both for the students doing the taping and the students on tape. 22

Ciao a Tutti! come va? I'm Stephy, the A.F.S. student from Italy. Milano, at Dodgeland. I’m almost at the end of my experience in the United States, and I enjoyed it a lot. A BIG thank you goes to my family, the Mountins. Miss Sullivan, and the A.F.S. chapter. I won't forget the other teachers and school staff too! What can I say about my experience? I learned a lot about a different culture, different style of life, different language, and how to sign my name!!!! “Remember. I heard teachers and students telling me. first sign your name and then your last name. (I always did the opposite). The thing that surprise me of America, most of all, is that in every house there are pets! I really hate them!!!! What did I like the best? The sweets, but don’t eat too much, you’ll gain weight, and then.......how to look it!?!?!?!?! I tried everything. I went out for every sport, but it is still sticking on me. Goodbye to everyone. Remember to get involved with A.F.S., it is fantastic, magniticent. and a lot of FUN!!!!!! Ciao e sempre in gamba. Salut Les Copains (HI) Well I guess there is always a goodbye for all good things. Before I leave I want to tell you that I had a great year in the United States. This year has been quite a change for me because I come from a big city, but that permitted me to know a TOTAL new way of life. I will always remem- ber Home Coming. Turnabout, and the Junior Prom, because I think that’s a very special moment. I will always remember all the activities at the disposition of the students and all the clubs to be involved in. because I’ll never have the chance again to do that, in France. The organization that gave me the opportunity to come wasn’t AFS, but an organization that has been placing students in Wisconsin for only a few years. It is called EF (Educational Foundation for Foreign Study). EF does not place exchange students only in the United States, but also in almost every other country in the world. This year I’ve visited famous places of Wisconsin. I went to Texas. Minnesota, and Illinois. I really think that the United States is a very nice country, which I will miss. I want to thank all my friends and Gerry, my Host mother, for giving me one of the unforgetable years of my life. P.S.: when you came here once, you have to come back!!!!! I will probably come back because I want to do Drama atudies for my future career. LOVE ALL OF YOU I’LL MISS YOU SANDY Stefania Mininno VIA C. Canti 5 20033 Desio MILANO ITALY SANDY MORARU 11.
